The Government of Nepal (GON) is implementing Public-Private Partnerships for Urban Environment (NEP/04/01) - Phase II (PPPUE) with support from UNDP in ten municipalities of Nepal to increase the access of the urban citizens to basic services with the promotion of partnerships between public and private sectors for the sustainable provision of urban services. In order to support its activities in assisting to implement the Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects in its partner municipalities, PPPUE also conducts various studies in related sectors. For this purpose, PPPUE now invites the interested
Nepalese consulting firms to conduct the following three studies as given below:
- Exploring prospects of Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project for Municipal Solid Waste Management (MSWM) in Nepal and preparing the information package related to it.
- Exploring potential for use of solar energy for powering streetlights in Nepalese municipalities
- Preparation of draft PPP Procurement Guidelines
In order to initiate these studies, PPPUE requests interested VAT registered Nepalese consulting firms to send separate detailed proposals (including details of resource persons, costs, time required) for each study to the address given below within 15 days from the date of first publication.
